Affirming.
At an election held in Calloway county on June 26, 1937, the vote for adopting the local option law was 1,686, and opposing 307. On the last day for doing so, B. W. Garrison, a liquor dealer, filed a contest of the election. He alleged that the petition for the election bore the “purported signatures of 1,992 pretended legal voters” of the county, and thereafter “in pretended pursuance of the aforesaid purported petition” the election was held.
