Mrs. Bertie Marie Burns brought suit against John Brickie and Standard Coffee Company, Inc., to recover for her personal injuries allegedly sustained as the result of an automobile collision proximately caused by the negligence of the defendant Brickie. The defendants filed a plea to compel the plaintiff to elect between prosecuting this suit and another which she had previously filed against the same defendants to recover, under the provisions of Code Ann. § 105-1307, the full value of the life of her son, James W.
