This suit was filed by the appellee, A. H. Daniel, against appellant, Rip Bravo Oil Company, a private corporation, to recover damages for personal injuries alleged by appellee to have been sustained by him in consequence of negligence on the part of appellant on October 30, 1927. Appellee alleged in substance that appellant was engaged in the production and storing of crude petroleum oil at what is known as Spindletop oil field in Jefferson county, and that on October 30, 1927, appellee was an employee of appellant as a common laborer, and that his duties were to do whatever he was directed…
