MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

MORAN, Senior District Judge.

Plaintiff Sherine Gray brought this action against defendants, the City of Chicago and Chicago police officers Jeffrey Burke and Jessica Gray, alleging that defendants violated her civil rights under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 by falsely arresting her for theft of services, intentionally and maliciously initiating criminal proceedings against her, and using excessive force during her arrest. Plaintiff also brings state law claims of malicious prosecution, battery, false arrest, and false imprisonment. Defendants now move for summary judgment…
