This is a petitory 1 and possessory 2 suit to try title to a pleasure vessel. Plaintiff Northern Insurance Company of New York (“Northern”) brings this admiralty action, pursuant to Rule 9(h) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Northern is the marine insurer of a 1996 Sea Ray Model 370 Yacht (“Sea Ray Yacht” or “vessel”), which was owned and registered to Eric T. Small (“Small”).
