Joyce Elliott Brown appeals from the imposition of sanctions by the Jackson County Circuit Court pursuant to Rule 55.03. Brown raises two points on appeal. First, she claims that the trial court erred by imposing sanctions because pleading the Restatement provision for tortious interference with an expectancy of an inheritance was proper and did not violate Rule 55.03(b)(2) in that it was a nonfrivolous move to change the law by extension, modification, or reversal of existing law or establishment of new law.
