Currently before the Court is Abdul Qader Ahmed Hussein’s (ISN 690)1 petition for a writ of habeas corpus, in which he argues that he should be released from the United States detention facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba because his detention is not statutorily authorized under the Authorization for the Use of Military Force (the “AUMF”), Pub.L.
