LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT – WORKERS’ COMPENSATION – COVERED EMPLOYEE – SITE OF EMPLOYMENT Pursuant to § 9-203(a)(2) of the Labor and Employment Article, an individual is a covered employee when he or she is working for the employer “outside of [Maryland] on a casual, incidental, or occasional basis if the employer regularly employs the individual within this State.” In the context of professional football, following the reasoning provided in Pro-Football, Inc. v.
