Statement of the Case.

MONROE, C. J.

This suit, having been dismissed upon an exception of no cause of action, is before this court on the appeal of the plaintiffs.

They allege that, as the sole heirs of Margaret Crutchfield, who died about 7 years since (prior to March 12, 1917, when the suit was instituted), they are the owners of the S. E. % of S. E. % of sec. 25, T. 17, R. 14, in the Parish of Caddo, the valúe of which exceeds $3,000, or, in the alternative, if it should be found that they are not all legitimate descendants, that certain of them who are named are the sole natural children of…
