Plaintiff, widow of J. Baxter Porter, Jr., sues, upon her own account and on behalf of a minor child, to recover damages, alleged to have been sustained by them in the loss of the husband and father, whose death is attributed to the negligence of the defendant in failing to provide him with a safe place and appliances in and with which to discharge the duty to which he *1052was assigned, and to give Mm sufficient warning of tlie danger to which lie was exposed.
