WALKER, Chief Justice.
This is a workmen’s compensation case, with appellant, Maryland Casualty Company, the compensation insurance carrier; appellee, Joe Jackson, the employee; and the Lummus Company, the employer. On the verdict of the jury in the district court of Jefferson County, on appellee’s appeal from the award of Industrial Accident Board, judgment was rendered in his favor against appellant for the sum of $3,000, as for total permanent disability.
