PARRISH, Judge.

Sammy Dee Vincent (hereafter referred to as “appellant”) was charged with and convicted of the offense of second degree murder. § 565.021.1. 1 He was sentenced as a prior and persistent offender. §§ 558.016 and 557.036.4. Appellant was sentenced to life imprisonment. Following sentencing, appellant filed a Rule 29.15 motion for post-conviction relief. Counsel was appointed and an amended motion filed. Appellant’s Rule 29.15 post-conviction motion was denied after evidentiary hearing. Appellant appeals his conviction in the criminal case and appeals the denial of his Rule 29.15…
