Defendant Bruce Hutchinson appeals his conviction and sentence on two counts of gross sexual misconduct, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 253 (Supp.1985), following a jury trial in the Superior Court (York County, Bro-drick, J.). On appeal of his conviction, Hutchinson argues that the trial court erroneously admitted statements made by him to the police while in custody and erred in denying him access to portions of the Department of Human Services records that allegedly involved defendant’s activities.
