OPINION

BAKER, Judge

Appellant-petitioner Johnie E. Davidson appeals the denial of his petition for post-conviction relief, claiming ineffective assistance of both trial and appellate counsel. Specifically, Davidson claims that he is entitled to relief because trial counsel failed to seek a mandatory severance of unrelated charges which resulted in the imposition of otherwise illegally consecutive sentences.
