| ¡¿Defendant, Nicholas Revish, was charged by grand jury indictment with second degree murder, a violation' of La. R.S. 14:30.1 (count one), and attempted second degree murder, a violation of .La. R.S. 14:27 and 14:30.1 (count two). He pled not guilty. Following a jury trial, defendant was found guilty as charged on both counts. On count one, the trial court sentenced defendant to the mandatory term of life imprisonment at hard labor, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
