"In this case suit for damages suffered by a minor child, a little girl, as the result of said child being struck by an automobile operated by Smith Stevenson.
"The child in question was six years old at the time of the accident and was not placed on the stand by plaintiff nor called for cross-examination by the defendant. The child was carried home in a car operated by a cousin of the defendant and the other occupants of the car were the little brother of the girl and the grown sister of the lady who operated…
