Petitioner, John G. DeRossett, appealed from the judgment of the circuit court of Rock Island County entered upon dissolution of his marriage to respondent, Cynthia L. DeRossett. The appellate court affirmed (No. 3 — 95—0019 (unpublished order under Supreme Court Rule 23)), and we allowed petitioner’s petition for leave to appeal (155 Ill. 2d R. 315).
