You have requested an opinion from this Office regarding the extent of the Louisiana Cemetery Board's ("LCB") regulatory jurisdiction as it relates to historic and prehistoric cemeteries and burial sites. Based upon telephone conversations and meetings with you subsequent to the receipt of your opinion request, we have identified the general problem that has prompted this request.
