SEXTON, Judge.

Plaintiff-appellant, Lillian C. Dale, instituted suit against Reginald L. Carroll and his insurer, Bankers Multiple Line Insurance Company, to recover damages sustained in an automobile accident which occurred on October 5, 1984, in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. The trial court found both drivers fifty percent at fault in causing the accident and rendered judgment in favor of the plaintiff and against the defendants Carroll and Bankers Multiple Line Insurance Company, in solido, in the sum of $23,488.03.
