LIPEZ, Circuit Judge.
Maria Guaman-Loja, a native and citizen of Ecuador, entered the United States without being admitted or paroled. She was placed into removal proceedings and filed applications for asylum, withholding of removal, and relief under the Conven tion Against Torture (“CAT”). An immigration judge (“IJ”) denied Guaman-Loja’s applications for relief, and the Board of Immigration Appeals (“BIA”) subsequently dismissed her appeal.
