OPINION AND DECISION

On June 3, 1980, Thomas R. Haddad (Tom) filed a petition for voluntary bankruptcy under Chapter 7 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.: On June 5, 1980, *369the debtor filed his Statement of Financial Affairs with Schedule B-4 appended to the statement choosing California State exemptions under 11 U.S.C. 522(b)(1).1 Schedule B-4 contains debtor’s claim of exemptions pertaining to clothing, jewelry, home, and automobile.
