This is a maritime tort action resulting from an injury suffered by plaintiff William Pippen while working aboard a drilling barge owned and operated by Inland Well Service, Inc., and under lease and apparently chartered to Shell Oil Company. The case is before this Court upon appeal by Inland Well and Shell Oil from the district court’s dismissal of their third-party actions against Superior Electric Wireline Corp., plaintiff Pippen’s employer.
