Knight v. Berger

This is an action to quiet title to certain mining claims in Kern County. The plaintiff is the owner of the Elephant Lode, the Hope Lode and the Excelsior Lode mining claims, having acquired title through mesne conveyances running back to the original locators. The Elephant and Hope claims were located on December 1, 1896, and the Excelsior claim on April 4, 1898. The defendant is the owner of the Bob-tail claim which was originally located on March 25, 1897.
