OPINION BY

ALLEN, J.

¶ 1 Margaret P. Shepard (“Dr. Shepard”) appeals from the order of the trial court that granted summary judgment in favor of Temple University (“Temple”) in this breach of contract action. We affirm.

¶2 The pertinent facts and procedural history may be summarized as follows: In 1998, Dr. Shepard was hired by Temple as an assistant professor in the Temple University College of Health Professions, Department of Nursing.
