MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

GETZENDANNER, District Judge.

This case is before the court on plaintiffs’ motion for class certification. It is one of sixteen consolidated cases alleging securities fraud violations against Loeb Rhoades & Co., Inc. and other defendants. The two named plaintiffs are Frank McNichols, an individual investor, and Louis Singer, who purports to act as successor in interest to Troster Singer & Co.
