Defendants-relators, CanadianOxy Offshore Production Company and Century Indemnity Company, as Successor to CCI Insurance Company, as Successor to Insurance Company of North America, sought supervisory writs from the district court judgment which denied their exceptions of prescription and no right of action and no cause of action based on peremption.
