In this prisoner civil rights case, plaintiff Sergio Shaw is proceeding on a claim against defendant Thomas Jahnke for an alleged excessive use of force. Before the court is defendant’s motion for summary judgment on the ground that plaintiff failed to exhaust his administrative remedies as required by 42 U.S.C. § 1997e(a).
