— In an action to recover damages for libel, the defendant James Druker appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Balletta, J.), dated August 31, 1987, which denied his motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against him.
*745Ordered that the order is modified by deleting the provision thereof which denied that branch of the appellant’s motion which was for summary judgment dismissing the first cause of action insofar as asserted against him and substituting therefor a provision granting that branch of the motion; as so modified, the order is…
