Defendant, Gary L. Barnard, appeals from a judgment entered by the circuit court of Saline County on May 26, 1989, following his conviction by a jury of the offense of involuntary manslaughter for the shooting death of Dennis Price. Defendant was initially charged by information with the offense of murder. The jury was instructed on the offenses of murder, voluntary manslaughter and involuntary manslaughter.
