I respectfully dissent from the majority’s decision to affirm both the defendant’s conviction and his sentence. I concur fully with Justice Pariente’s determination that the penalty phase was tainted by multiple improper closing arguments by the prose*874cutor and that these arguments deprived Braddy of a fair penalty phase proceeding.
