We granted this writ of certiorari to determine whether Bristol Baxley, an attorney licensed in the State of Texas, but who has litigated a number of cases in Louisiana courts, should be permitted to appear, via pro hac vice admission, in two Federal Employers’ Liability Act (“FELA”) cases, in association with Louisiana attorneys, pursuant to LSA-R.S. 37:214. The cases proceeded separately in the district court, but were consolidated for purposes of the appeal and this writ application.
