Appeal by the plaintiff, Louis Routenberg, from an order of the Appellate Term of the Supreme Court, entered in the office of the clerk of the county of New York on the 8th day of December, 1899, reversing a judgment of the Municipal Court of the city of New York, borough of Manhattan, in favor of the plaintiff for $195.

The question presented for determination in this case relates to the jurisdiction of the Municipal Court of the city of Hew York over a defendant who does not dwell, or is not an inhabitant within the territorial jurisdiction of that court, but who has a place for the transaction of business in the city of Hew York. The action was brought in the Municipal Court of the fourth district of the city of Hew York, to recover for goods sold and delivered. Objection was taken to the jurisdiction.
