George W. Hall brought an action at law in the circuit court of Mercer county, W. Va., against the Norfolk & Western Railway Company, a corporation, and American Railway Express Company, a corporation, for personal injuries received by him on board a mail car of the railway company in the state of Virginia on December 14, 1927. The suit was removed from the state court to the District Court of the United States for the Southern District of West Virginia.
