The defendants in an action of trespass for libel appeal from the refusal of the court below to grant a new trial where an adverse judgment was rendered against them jointly and severally in the amount of $100 for compensatory damages and $2,500 for punitive damages which amount was reduced by remittitur from $5,000. Two questions are presented.
