Defendant was found guilty by a jury of carrying a concealed weapon contrary to MCLA 750.227; MSA 28.424, was sentenced to two to five years in prison and appeals as of right.

*29The proofs adduced at trial showed that in the early morning hours of August 22, 1972 a plainclothes police officer, while having a cup of coifee in an all-night restaurant, observed two men entering the establishment.
