Plaintiff Bruce Carlile’s second-amended complaint against defendants Snap-on Tools (Snap-on) and Charles Johnson alleged fraudulent misrepresentation and breach of contract with respect to Carlile’s employment as a Snap-on dealer. The trial court entered summary judgment for defendants based upon a written release executed by the parties.
