Trespass on the Case for negligence. Heard on petition of defendant for new trial, and granted on question of damages.

This is an action of the case for the recovery of damages for the death of the plaintiff’s intestate, Thomas E. McCabe, her late husband, on September 16, 1903, from an electric shock, alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the defendant. At the trial the jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff for the sum of $19,000, and the case is now before us on the defendant’s petition for a new trial.
