On January 25, 1915, George Donnersberger filed an application in the circuit court of Cook county to register title to the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 36, ■ township 39, north, range 13, east of the third principal meridian, in Cook county, stating that the land was vacant and not occupied. His application made the city of Chicago and the Illinois and Michigan Canal Commissioners parties thereto, also unknown parties claiming interest.
