This is a suit, instituted by appellee, to recover damages to a certain shipment of 862 cattle from Pearland, Tex., to Foraker, Okl. It was alleged that the cattle were delivered for shipment to appellant; that after the cattle were loaded, and the train was ready to move, the agent of appellant required appellee to sign a contract, of whose contents he was ignorant, and to the terms of which he did not assent, and by which he was not bound; that the cattle were delayed en route, were roughly and carelessly handled, and many of them knocked down, bruised, and injured; that 21 of the…
