National Linen Service/National Service Industries, Inc. (employer), a self-insured employer, appeals a decision of the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission (commission) awarding medical fees on behalf of Reginald Parker (claimant) following a referral to a Regional Medical Costs Peer Review Committee (committee). Employer contends that the commission erred in finding that the committee had properly responded to the commission’s referral and in making an award of fees in the amount recommended by the committee.
