OPINION

BILL BASS, Justice (Retired).

Appellant Floyd Thompson appeals from the denial of a bill of review. In one issue, Thompson contends that he was denied his right to appeal due to official misconduct and therefore the trial court abused its discretion in denying the bill of review. We affirm.

Background

On January 12, 2001, Appellee Nathaniel Ballard filed suit in the small claims court of Rusk County, Precinct 3, claiming that Thompson continued to drive heavy equipment across Ballard’s property despite Ballard’s repeated objections. Ballard claimed that he had suffered $5,000 damages…
