Order of the Supreme Court, New York County (Martin Stecher, J.), entered on October 6, 1989, which denied defendant’s motion for a change of venue to Ulster County, unanimously reversed, on the law, *384the motion granted, and venue transferred to Ulster County, without costs.

When this matter was previously before us on the same issue, we upheld venue in New York County. Now, on the basis of new evidence presented on defendant’s motion to renew, we reverse.

This action seeks damages for personal injuries resulting from plaintiffs’ falling from a ski lift at Belleayre Mountain in Ulster County.…
