This is an original action in which relators seek a peremptory writ of mandamus to compel the respondent Secretary of State to accept, file, and process nominating petitions, and to certify and cause to be placed on the ballot for the election to be held November 2, 1948, the names of the first six relators as presidential electors or the names of Henry A. Wallace and Glen H. Taylor as candidates for President and Vice- President of the United States. The respondent answered.
