The city of Fort Worth, for the benefit of the city park board, filed condemnation proceedings before Judge P. J. Small, judge of the county court at law No. 2, Tarrant county. Subsequent to the filing of the petition, said judge appointed three disinterested freeholders as special commissioners to hear evidence and otherwise determine the market value of lot No. 3 and the east 40 feet of lot No. 4, in block No. 3, city of Fort Worth, belonging to J.
