Because I believe the trial court abused its discretion in striking State Farm’s answer and entering default judgment against it, I must respectfully dissent.

Health Horizons’ complaint against State Farm specifically alleged as follows: State Farm was an automobile insurance company which issued policies containing provisions for payment of medical expenses of its insureds incurred as a result of automobile accidents. Health Horizons accepted assignment by the insureds of the right to payment under these policies as a result of Dr. Knott’s providing medical services to State Farm’s insureds.…
