I. INTRODUCTION
Appellant Rigoberto Pantoja pleaded guilty to the offenses of aggravated assault and attempted capital murder. A jury assessed his punishment at twenty years’ confinement and sixty years’ confinement, respectively, and the trial court sentenced him accordingly.
