Defendant, Otis Beasley, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault (three counts), criminal sexual assault (three counts) and unlawful restraint. The first counts were predicated on the unlawful restraint charge. Following a jury trial, he was convicted of criminal sexual assault and was sentenced to serve 30 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
