This case arises as a result of an accident which occurred when plaintiff, operating a motorcycle, struck a pile of gravel and debris in the parking lot of a shopping center owned by defendants Fastenberg and managed for them by defendant Woodsmall. Late on the date of May 2, 1968, the plaintiff rode his motorcycle from his residence to a bar located in the shopping center where he consumed a beer in the company of three friends, including one woman.
