This matter came before the Court for a bench trial December 12 through 14, 2011, as a consolidated action.1 The original suit, 5:09-cv-1425 (“Jones I ”), was filed in state court on July 22, 2009, by Jones Energy Co., (“Jones Energy”) as a declaratory judgment action regarding four wells.2 Chesapeake Operating, Inc., and *782Chesapeake Louisiana, L.P.
