OPINION

LEDERBERG, Justice.

This case is before the Supreme Court on the appeal of Wesley Spratt (defendant) from judgments of conviction on counts of first-degree murder, carrying a pistol without a license, and committing a crime of violence when armed with a firearm. The defendant argued that the trial justice committed reversible error when he admitted into evidence a photograph of the murder victim wearing a tuxedo some months before he died.
